     Stephanie McLean (aka, The Shellac Queen) has been a licensed Nail Technician in the Lafayette area for over 38 years.  She specializes in natural nail care, liquid gels and soak-off gel polish (Shellac, Gelish by Harmony and O.P.I. brands) Stephanie was the first in the area to pioneer the soak-off gel phenomenon that is sweeping the industry! Her extensive experience with these products has made her a foremost expert in this technology. If you have had less than satisfying results with any of these products at salons with less experienced technicians, Stephanie will make you a true believer!   

    Stephanie also offers a liquid builder gel product for those with thin or weak nails to provide the strength and durability you need.

    Another great option for those with natural nails, is a new product called Dazzle Dry. This is an innovative non-gel nail care system that delivers fast-drying, long-lasting, and chip-resistant results, providing salon-quality performance without the need for UV or LED light.      Another option for those individuals with dry or brittle nails would be Stephanie's hot oil manicure.  This treatment is a deep conditioning and hydrating process designed to restore health to the natural nail.

     And for those blessed with naturally strong nails, Stephanie recommends the process by which she applies paper wraps to the free edge of the nail.  This is called 'Juliette Wraps' and provides even more strength and protection to prevent breakage.  This process has been used since the 1950's, although very few nail care professionals offer it to their customers. 

     With regard to pedicure procedures, Stephanie chooses to use the Belava Foot Spa which includes a disposable foot liner.  This attention to detail prevents cross-contamination of bacteria between clients that is commonly found in the regular spa chairs found in most salons today.  Stephanie's pedicures are the safest, most hygienic foot spa treatments available anywhere.
